The International Law Offices of San Diego are dedicated to efficiency, conciseness and personal service in the spirit of our motto: "Law is a profession, not a business."
We practice international business law, primarily in Mexico, Pacific Rim countries, Latin America, Europe and Africa. We work with associated offices in Mexico, the Marshall Islands, Fiji, Hawaii, Alaska, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
Specific disciplines include international business law, customs, immigration, law of the sea, fishery and ocean resources, maritime, and environmental law.
We represent clients before local, state, federal and foreign governments, departments, agencies and commissions, and legislatures.
The firm was founded in 1989 by Peter H. Flournoy, who served for many years with the U.S. State Department in a variety of international law specialties with assignments which took him around the globe.
Our newest associate, Ana Patricia Sanchez-McMillon, hails from Madrid. She is a member of the Spanish and Madrid bar associations and can practice in Mexico and throughout Latin America. She specializes in Spanish, International and European law and has authored two books.
Doing business on the world scene is tough. Not only do you face different customs and practices, foreign bureaucrats, and a puzzling array of regulations, but you confront a maze of confusing laws which not only can be frustrating -- they can get you into serious trouble.
That's why the International Law Offices of San Diego provides years of experience on the international scene to help you through the maze, whether it involves business negotiations or providing representation before a foreign government or in a foreign courtroom.
